SMALL FARM
BIG DREAM
Our dream has always been to create a small, natural farm — a place where we could live simply, grow our own food, and raise our children close to the land.
With 25 acres to call our own, we’re building that dream from the ground up, planting diverse gardens full of vegetables, herbs, and fruit, and raising animals the way nature intended.
We envision a landscape alive with color and life — chickens roaming freely, pigs rooting in the pasture, bees buzzing among wildflowers, and rows of healthy plants nurtured by rich, living soil.
More than just a farm, this is our family’s home and way of life. We want our young children to grow up with dirty hands, fresh air in their lungs, and a deep connection to nature.
We believe there’s no better classroom than the outdoors, no better lesson than watching life grow from seed to harvest. Our days are shaped by the seasons, and we find joy in the rhythms of farm life — planting, tending, harvesting, and caring.
This chaotic and often comical journey is about creating a meaningful life, one rooted in a love for everything outdoors.

OUR VISION
Roots Farm, a place rooted in purpose, sustainability, and a deep respect for the land.
At the heart of everything we do is regenerative farming, a holistic approach that goes beyond sustainability by actively restoring soil health, enhancing biodiversity, and building resilient ecosystems.
Every decision we make, from the crops we plant to the way we care for our animals, is guided by a desire to work in harmony with nature rather than against it.
Our farm produces a variety of wholesome, natural goods including fresh eggs, raw honey, pasture-raised pork, and free-range chicken.
We raise our animals ethically and outdoors, allowing them to live as they would in nature — foraging, roaming, and contributing to the land's fertility.
Our chickens and pigs are integral to our regenerative practices, turning over soil, reducing pests, and adding nutrients back to the earth. This creates a vibrant, living system where each element supports the next.
OUR FUTURE
Our commitment to become chemical-free and use low-intervention practices ensures that everything we grow and raise is as natural, nutritious, and flavourful as possible.
That's why it's our mission to become an official organic provider of high-quality produce by 2028.
We also believe people should have the opportunity to understand and engage with, where their food comes from and how it is created.
From school classroom visits, picking your own fresh flowers in our sunflower fields to hands-on pig husbandry courses operating, it's our mission in its first five years, is for our farm to be alive with a hub of activity for the community.
By supporting our farm, following us on social, sharing our posts or pre-ordering our products, you’re helping to build a food system that respects the rhythms of nature, honours the animals, and regenerates the earth — one harvest at a time.

OUR MISSION
Our regenerative farming approach is a way of growing food that helps heal the land instead of harming it.
Unlike conventional farming, which often uses chemicals and heavy machinery that can wear out the soil, regenerative farming focuses on improving the health of the soil, the plants, and the whole ecosystem. It’s about working with nature — not against it.
One of the main goals of regenerative farming is to build healthy soil. Healthy soil is full of life: worms, microbes, fungi, and other tiny organisms that help plants grow strong and naturally resist pests and disease.
By using practices like rotating crops, planting cover crops, composting, and avoiding synthetic chemicals, we can bring life back to the soil and help it store more water and nutrients.
Animals also play a big role. In regenerative systems, our animals like chickens or pigs are moved around the land in a way that mimics nature. Their grazing and movement fertilize the ground and help it grow back stronger. Our bees and other pollinators are protected and encouraged, making the whole system more balanced and resilient.
